I'm less focused on creating some zentangles and follow the challenges, due to the renovation of our living room these last weeks. But, as we 'live' in a spar guestroom with the four of us, it's sometimes good for me that I can focus on my zentangles and leave other things as they are.
Week one: Jalousie
Jalousie and Fengle... looks like a carpet on my tile.
Week two: pokeroot
... is like mushrooms to me. So here is my Autumn tile.
Week three: Nymph
Whow, what a nice pattern ! But... no time to make a tile at first. Only after a few days I could try it and made this nice tile.
Week four: W2
I knew the pattern already, but never really used it. So, now is the time to do so. I made my W2 tile together with a variation of other patterns (Flux, Jetties, Nymph of last week)

Pimped book covers
September is already half way, and the children began at school again. The daily routine is on again. September is also the month of the new school stuff, books and covers. My eldest daughter loves to pimp her books and covers. She has always so much inspiration.
You can see some nice examples here, they are alle zentangle inspired. And I also zentangled one of her covers - the purple one. I tried to make it different from hers, by using flowery - and round patterns.
She is especially fond of elephants, because this is her "totem" (special name) in the scouts group.

Tea cups
Here are my zentangled tea cups. I used the Posca pens I bought last week, and put the cups subsequently in a hot oven for about 45 minutes. My housemates like the result very much - and me too ! I hope the drawings last a bit - also after putting the cups in the dishwasher. That was not mentioned in the brochure... We'll see and I'll let you know ;)
And ... we enjoied of course the first spring sunshine here today. Really really nice weather for a little bicycle tour. And we were not alone :)

Lucky clover
The challenge of 'Square One: Pure Zentangle' was to use the pattern Crescent Moon this week. My Crescent Moon turned out to be a four leaves clover ... for luck ! So here my wishes for 2015: luck and hapiness to all of you in 2015.
My next tile with crescent moon, I made on gray paper because I wanted to use some white in it. May be because of a bit of snow in my mind I think ? And there it is: today a few centimeters of snow - may be tomorrow just enough for the childer to play in.
During the year I made some other flowers, and I'll post them here together with my lycky clover. The first down here is my napkin-flower ('servietbloem') . I made it in the summer after a barbecue we had with some friends. The hostess put some very nice napkins on the table with a beautiful pattern. I tangled it immediately at home, and made this nice flower with it. It's also made on gray paper.
The tile here was the first I made on black paper. Not that easy with the white gel pens I have. I should look for some better ones soon ! I tangled the flowers of my eyeglasses case, during a a coffee break while doing some shopping a while ago. For the background on the tile, I was inspired by the wall paper of the cafe.
