Moebius in hearts

The Diva challenge #201 this week is to use the Moebius Syndrome Foundation's logo.
Saterday, January 24, was the  Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day. Artoo, Laura's youngest son is born with this syndrome. You can read more about it on her blog

I filled the string with Chartz, Tipple, Static and  Paradox in the middle.  At first I did not know what to use for the background.  Then I thought about Laura, Artoo... and being a mother. So I put some heartline in the background, for all those people with Moebius Syndrome and who are being loved by someone.

Congratulations challenge #200

Congratulations Laura with your 200st challenge !!

The I-am-the-Diva-challenge of this week, is to use your favourite tangle in a monotangle, and put 200 on the tile, because this week is the #200 challenge Laura Harms posted on her blog. You can find all the other tiles created for this 200st challenge here http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.be/2015/01/tada-weekly-challenge-200.html

My favourite is Cadent, already from the beginning.  And it hasn't changed until now, so for me it was obvious to make a Cadent monotangle ! And the pattern makes me think also on all the tiles I already made.  Each cadent pattern for a tile :)

Challenge #199 Hitch

The Diva Challenge #199 for this week is to use HITCH, an UMT (Use My Tangle) of HeidiSue.  I tried Hitch on a piece of paper, and oops... little mistake on drawing the bows.  Hmm, that looks also nice !  So here is my Hitch, with a little variation on the bows.

The diamands made me think of Knightsbridge, so I added that to my tile.  And I used also Flux, Tipple and Diva Dance in the tile.

China Light Zoo

We visited China Light in the Zoo of Antwerp two weeks ago on an evening (26/12).  Fabulous !! Really very very beautiful.  May be a bit cold of course, but you forget it when you see all the animals and other statues that are exposed.  It was a very nice evening with the whole family during Christmas hollidays !

And such beautiful patterns on all the Chinees figures.  It gave me a lot of inspiration for a Zentangle Inspired Artwork.  I even used a bigger paper format  for it.

And here some pictures of the Chine Light Zoo Show:

Animals

Time to publish some animal cards I made for the kids.  The first two cards, I made for my youngest daughter to send her on some holiday's with different groups. One Easter Chicken in colour and one Love Kitten tile sent in the summer - just after we had adopted our kitten Tuxi.

And the last card, I made for my youngest nieces and cousins of the same family.  I gave them each a little tile in a nice envelope on New Year's Day, and when they put it together they can see the fish ! Lovely to see their faces then.

New Year's cards for nieces and cousins

Finaly, I can post my New Year's cards I made in December.  For all my teenage nieces and cousins I would see on New Year's Day I made a New Year's card.  I put them all in a nice envelope - found within the Flow magazine - together with some pocket money. I had to make 10 cards and it took quit some evenings before they were all finished !  But they were all very pleased with their zentangle card, and so it was worth the effort and yes to me it is stimulating to continue tangling and publish the results on my blog.

You can see al the cards here.

And now one by one:

And the beautiful envelopes made with paper out of the Flow magazine (Flow is a nice dutch mindfulness magazine).
